how do i find the status of my federal amended tax refund from indiana?

If filed by IRS e-file, you should get your refund within 15 days if you opted for direct deposit and 21 days if IRS send you a paper check. If you have mailed you return to the IRS, then you should receive your refund check within 6 weeks.

i mailed in my amended tax return on march 21, i still havent heard any thing about it. Thats been over 8 weeks how do i find out where it is and when i get it?

You need to CALL the IRS; you can find the phone number at Internal Revenue Service (http://www.irs.gov).
