we bought a semi in may of 2005. our accountant did not use any depreciation that year, because our expenses were so high he said he could save it. I need to file for 2006 & 2007. I know a semi depreciates in 3 years. what amount do I use for 2006? and for 2007. We sold the semi in April 2007.

A three-year depreciation seems a BIT short; I believe FIVE years is more appropriate.
