I have recently purchased a Honeywell RTH7000 series programmable thermostat, and I have a couple of questions regarding the wiring of it. The current wiring of the currently installed Nordyne thermostat is as follows:
Y = yellow wire
G = green wire
R = red wire
O = orange wire
W2 = white wire
E = dark brownish almost black colored wire
C = blue wire

My new thermostat is confirgured as R, Rc, W, Y, G, C W2, & Y2 for conventional, and R, Rc, O/B, Y G, C, AUX, E, & L for Heat Pump. I have a heat pump. I wired the new thermostat for the heat pump configuration, but my heat does not come on. What next?
