I currently have the Janitrol HPT18-60. The wires that I have coming in and are connected are Y (lime green), G(dark green), R (red), O (orange), W2 (white), E (grey), C (blue), and black which is unused. The HoneywellRTH230B only has the 5 connections. Rh jumpered to Rc, W, Y, and G. To add to the issue, I have a Lux in the basement. It has 4 wires but only two are used - Red and White. The unused in the basement are black and blue (I think). I dont care if the one in basement doesnt work because I do not believe I have a dual zone unit (Plus if you try to adjust it, nothing happens anyway and there are no ducts anywere in the basement. So how do I connect the old wires to the new unit. Also everything is electric and ran through the same unit. I have something outside that runs that I think is a condenser and then the unit in the basement. Thanks for the help.

The thermostat you bought will not work for your system. See below under introduction.
