Hi
I filed form 1040a claiming education credits on march 25,2008. Now I realize I should have filed 1040 NR-EZ. To correct, I will soon be sending 1040x, 1040NR-EZ and 8843. According to earlier 1040a, I should get a refund of, say $ 3650 and according to corrected form, I should get a refund of $2000, i.e. I had claimed an additional $1650 in 1040a. Now, since I haven't yet received refunds from IRS, should i send a check of $1650 along with 1040x? or will I just get the reduced refunds as claimed on my corrected 1040 NR-EZ?

thanks

Assuming you have gotten the $3,650 refund by now, you send in a check for the difference with Form 1040X, 1040NR-EZ and Form 8843.
