Hello,

Like a lot of people who have posted on the forum, I am the classic F1-Opt-H1B case for this tax year. I have closely followed the discussion threads here and (I think) I know what forms I should be filling out. However, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with www.istaxes.com or any other tax software. Any and all advice regarding tax softwares for non resident aliens would be welcome and highly appreciated.

The site looks interesting, but I cannot at this time evaluate it (no time). I know of no other site for tax preparation for non-resident aliens.

Thanks for the prompt response. I guess there aren't too many reasonable tax softwares for non residents, huh ? :(

BTW, thank you for all your advice on the forum. The entire tax process was a big blur to me till a couple of days ago but after reading the threads here, I feel much more confident about how to go about getting things done.

Read my posts on "F1 to H1 Tax dilemma". I tried using CINTAX and ISTAX. They werent able to complete a return the way I wanted it.

The best bet would be to do it by hand, the calculations are fairly simple.
