The belt on our blower motor broke and we replaced, but noticed a loose wire hanging down from the 'gas valve' and 'thermostat' area. We see where a screw and wire might have been (paper marked Y). However, the wire that is loose is beige and thicker consistency. My husband tried touching the loose wire to the empty whole and nothing happens, i.e. the blower would not kick on. We turn the the thermostat upstairs to manual, with the heat setting, and the blower does go on...along w/the a/c outside. So, its definitely something to do with the wiring. Any suggestions?
