Hi,

I have SSN and filed my 2007 returns along with my wife who has ITIN. So, I'm not able to get the advance economic stimulus payment this year as my wife doesn't have SSN while filing the 2007 returns. My wife got SSN now and we are planning to file 2008 returns jointly (we both will file using our SSN numbers).

Can I claim the stimulus payment amount during that time? (when we file our 2008 returns)

Thanks

Yes, those you did not get full stimulus tax payment on the basis of 2007 return, will get the balance on the basis of 2008 tax return.
