Im not a doctor but I think that you should wait for a week and see what happens. My period comes late alot, and a week or two it comes. But if it doesnt in a week I think that you should go see your doctor.

How long did you have the implant? Typically it will take several months, sometimes up to 6 months, for your period to regulate and be completely regular after the discontinuation of the implant or the depo shot.

Also, even for women who are always regular and don't use birth control, 5 days is not really considered late in the medical community. If you don't get your period in about another week, you can try testing using first morning urine.

also you worrying about it can stop your period even longer. I suggest not worrying too much...Even if you are pregnant it is already done, so you worrying won't help. i doubt that you are i think it is just your implant, Your body was used to it and it does take time to regulate on your own. If you are too worried call your doctor to ease your mind. i think you are fine.
