Could you please answer my questions.

I am acting as bookkeeper of a charity organisations, recently we received some stationeries of N$ 2500.00; Soffas of N$ 2300.00; food N$ 500.00; used clothes N$1200.00 and many other items.


Now my question is what journal entries should I pass in each connetion? is there any acounting standard that regulate that? if yes could you refer me to it please.

2. The Chairman of the organisation feels that the donated stationeries should be used in the orgatiosation and the food should be also used in the oganisation to feed some of the orphans.
