I worked at a night club doing security for about 2 yrs in Florida and is happily married. In 2006, I was working and after the night we all started drinking and I got completely wasted, I was dropped off home by a coworker. My wife was home with her friend who was 16 years old, I don't remember getting home only what my wife told me the next morning. Well, my wife and her friend were sleeping ad when I got home she took me and put me to sleep in between her friend and her. My wife woke up like an hour or so later because she felt movement, and when she did she seen her friend on top of me. They then did whatever it was in a fighting and arguing sense. After that her friend left and we left it at that. Months went by and she had found out she was pregnant, she told her mother we had consentual intercourse and her mother flipped (not telling her mother the truth), so her mother went to the police and from that point forward the fun began, I was arrested and the baby was born. Til this day she has yet to tell the truth, but her mother wanted to drop the charges and the state didn't want to. The dna results came back and showing the baby is mine, with that being said I accepted a plea with 2 yrs community control and 10yrs probation, the court also said I can move to NJ if I wanted. Npw I'm going to lose my job because of this because I now have to register as an offender not agreed with prosecuter but the court apointed it. My question is, do you think it is at all possible for me to get the offender stuff removed, also how do I go about transferring to nj while under community control (home confinement.) I reside in Florida now.

No, in most states, it is the conviction of certain crimes that put you on the list, os it appears you accepted a plea to some form of rape or sex with a minor or something, which of course puts you as a registered sex offender.
Of course it all starts ** I was drinking or drunk
And I have to ask why a 16 year old was sleeping with your wife in your bed?

Sorry it is a lot of bad choices that was made. If the girl would have been put on the stand to tell the truth,? But yes this will hurt in getting a lot of jobs.

When you were in school did the dog ever eat your homework? This sounds like what is known as a three way gone wrong.

Well, they just happened to be sleeping already from watching a ,movie from what I was told, but most definitely bad situation and bad decision making. Also do you any kind ofjobs in specific that are willing to hire offenders?

QuestionGuy02 disagrees: Unfortunetly no its not a 3sum gone wrong.

No need for the "reddie," just because you disagree with me. No need at all.

Hello Q:

I don't think you can get off the registration program and I don't think you can transfer while you're being confined.

Once you're released you can transfer your probation to another state. You must have some case manager. That's where you apply.

Unfortunately it was a case of "tag, you're it" and you lost big time. Now you will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of your life due to one night's drinking problem. I guess you were sound asleep during the whole performance also. If you are still on home confinement you won't be able to transfer anywhere until that portion of your sentence is completed. If this was a true scenerio, I would like to know why the wife didn't stop the girl before it was too late. Good luck in your transfer to another state. It can be done. It sometimes takes a bit of doing.

I must be a very not understanding wife and/or person -

I never suggested my husband and I share a bed with anyone; I never watched movies in bed with an unrelated 16 year old female; if I ever woke up "because I sensed movement" I would still be in jail. Yes, someone exercised bad judgment.

I like the "They then did whatever it was in a fighting and arguing sense. After that her friend left and we left it at that." His wife - who had been sound asleep and woke up to them in The Act - then LEFT it at that?

Okay, some women are apparently more understanding and/or forgiving than others.

I don't know if anyone should be on the sex registry and I know the board is divided on whether it's useful but if there's a stupidity registry...

For whatever reason I was thinking about this thread and I'm surprised OP's WIFE wasn't charged with something. It's his story that he was (highly) intoxicated, his wife must have known it because she "tucked him into bed" between herself and the 16-year old friend (he didn't wander into the bedroom by himself), she fell asleep and whatever happened happened. Would question her judgment but more importantly am surprised now that husband has implicated her to this degree that she wasn't charged with anything from assisting in a sexual assault to pandering and also placed on a sex registry.
