Hi,

I left the US for good in Oct 2007. I have to fill 1040 NR for tax purposes. What status should I write in the 'Current non-mmigration status box' ( I gave my I-94 so I cannot use the status on that).

Also what should be the date of change of my status ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mukat, if I write left us , would i still be able to use the direct deposit facility for my tax rebate?

Thanks

If you kept you U.S. bank account open when you left the country, you then have the option of using direct deposit to that U.S. account.
