Hi my name is nickil. I am 22 year old me and my girl friend were shopping for whole day and she get tired mean while I was cheking on a belt and showing her also... she pass all the shopping bags to me to carry it while I toltay forgot that I was holding that belt as well and we walk out from the store.. while we reached the parking security came and ask me to go with them I am arrested for shoplifting.. because there was no criminal record of mine they fill all the paper works.. made me sign on them for the damge and time they waste mean while poice arrive and gave me date to appear on the court but before that I have to go and give out my finger prints what should I do now? Please answer my question as soon as possible. If I found to be guilty is it going to stay in my record or I ll just get fine to pay off. I word in fiancé company where they ask you criminal record every year does it going to show there. Please answer this quetiosn appreaciate your help.

Most places I know for first time you have to see the Judge, take some anti shoplifting classes and pay a fine.
You can get your record expunged but you have to stay out of trouble for a certain amount of time first.
