Previously, I was working as a consultant for almost 6 months and after that my cleint offered me for the permanent position. I accepted the offer and i joined.

So my previous employer did not pay my 1 and half month salary. But when i got my W-2from him he has shown the total amount(including that 1 and half month's salary).

Because of that I am getting almost 1000$ less refund. What I have to do to get the refund for the money that i have not been paid.

why were you not paid your salary ? you need to collect the salary you were not paid, if you were not paid for work you did.
Or you can demand a corrected W2 if it is really incorrect
