Gr8stuff Mar 13, 2008, 02:56 PM Ok, this is not a product or anything but according to her website, she is a Doc in the USA but originally from Vietnam and has written this book about skin color and how to lighten etc. The book is priced at nearly $65 and I just want to know whether anyone followed her instructions and achieved anything.
BTW, before anyone start bashing me for promoting anything here, I would like to clarify that I'm not selling anything and I'm not affiliated with this site at all. I was just intrigued by the transformation this lady had without using any chemicals that we're all using with some kinda side-effect.
I got her free sample ebook, but she didn't disclose anything in it, apart from some before and after pics of herself and some of the people who followed her instructions. Lol...Quite amazing and natural I must say. I dun wanna shell out $65 if it's not gonna work or if it's about information I can get here on in any public forums, lol.
Anyone who knows anything about it, lemme know....thanx...

On her website, she states clearly that she will not reply to questions which have been answered in her book. Probably, the answer to your question is in there, so you would have to buy it or use a library :)
nikki1000 Aug 19, 2008, 05:53 PM is there anyone that has tried her products?im surprised more people havent spoke about it?
MsGinger Oct 6, 2008, 05:34 PM I'm an African American and have used Thienna FairSkin. It's a very excellent product, it lightens the skin as well as hydrates it.
I noticed after 4-6 weeks being a shade lighter. I stopped using it in the summertime, but am looking to use it again.
teka01 Oct 8, 2008, 09:28 AM i wouldnt risk ur money and the health of ur skin,it sounds like a rip off to me
MsGinger Oct 8, 2008, 10:32 AM If you never used it, how are you commenting something you know nothing about?
teka01 Oct 8, 2008, 01:10 PM If you never used it, how are you commenting something you know nothing about?
thats my point.i WOULDNT try it,from what ive seen on the website it looks like a ripoff.
MsGinger Oct 14, 2008, 07:42 PM So the question are for those who tried it (LIKE ME) and who've had success with it (LIKE ME).
If you want to waste your money on unaffective methods, go right ahead.

MsGinger Oct 16, 2008, 07:53 AM Blah, Blah, Blah.....you are just mad it didn't work on you. It worked on me, and many others. You are so apparent.

why would i be mad that it never "worked on me" (use proper english), when i never had and will never tried it??
MsGinger Oct 16, 2008, 03:27 PM That's the point, you never tried it, so take your fake opinions elsewhere.
teka01 Oct 17, 2008, 03:03 PM what opinion??? lmao i never gave an opinion on it, if you actually read what i said.
MsGinger Oct 18, 2008, 05:47 AM what opinion? how about " it's a fraud"...that's an opinion.

LMAO!!!!!! do you know what an opinion is??? how can u call somone's opinion fake?? its their OPINION!!!!! :p
MsGinger Oct 18, 2008, 08:16 AM When it's related to PRODUCT that someone has never TRIED...it's fake....unsubstantiated...empty words...your so called "opinion" would have more merit if you actually tried the product, but you haven't and I have.
Smalllady Oct 19, 2008, 08:04 AM I know someone that used it. She went from medium brown skin to mariah carey color in a matter of about 6 months to a year. But she used most of the products (not too expensive) and she also bought the book.
MsGinger Oct 19, 2008, 08:50 AM Thanks Small, i know for myself i went 1.5 shades within 45 days just using the $30 cream which was heavily moisturized. I was using the Kojic Acid Soap and creams which was too drying for my skin but using the Kojic Acid soap along with the Thienna cream i got my result without looking hideous.
Smalllady Oct 19, 2008, 09:39 AM your welcome just sharing what I know
BubbleTea Mar 10, 2009, 02:00 AM LMAO!!!!!! do you know what an opinion is??? how can u call somone's opinion fake?? its their OPINION!!!!! :p
However, your opinions so fare have been too subjective, lacking any reason on why Thienna Fairskin products are not effective or safe. All you just did was state that the Original Poster should not try the product because it "sounds like a rip-off". Then you go on to say that you go on to *indirectly* state the Theinna Fairskin is "one of the millions of frauds on the internet".
I don't know how you could give a valid opinion without testing a product empirically. Even though most people wouldn't want to try a product before searching for valid reviews and such...compared to the other websites that I've come across, I don't find Thienna Fairskin to be as shady as the others. It's site interface looks professional, unlike the very tacky skin lightening websites I've come across. Dr. Thienna had her own online modeling portfolio, ThiennaGallery.com. It's not working anymore, but Wayback Machine has been able to create an internet archive of it (http://web.archive.org/web/20041214090554/www.thiennagallery.com/gallery.htm). The book that Dr. Thienna published on how skin color works, and the reviews that people have given it so far all across the web, are substantial validation that Dr. Thienna's products may be safe and effective to use. The book was the grand prize winner in the 2008 Beach Book Festival. Dr. Thienna is also broken the Guinness Records for doing the most squats in an hour (5,135 (http://community.guinnessworldrecords.com/_Guinness-World-Record-Broken-for-Most-Sumo-Squats-in-One-Hour/VIDEO/123293/7691.html)!), making her a prominent figure. It is easer to trust figures that are more well-known than shady characters with shabby-looking websites, that have very few validation from outside sources.
Even Dr. Thienna herself is evidence that her skin lightening system works. The reviews that other members on this forum have given for Thienna's system also seem positive. This is enough support to know that it is okay to risk trying Dr. Thienna's system.
