I'm currently on probation, but reached my term (6 months) & my probation officer sent my "early termination" to the judge & the state attorney to get their approval. How long does it usually (approximately) take to get either the approval/denial back?
Ive done my term, passed evaluation, passed pee tests, paid all fines, probation off, tickets, comm. Service hours, followed a curfew, everything was done perfectly.
Help?

It's all up to them right now. It could take weeks in some instances. They are in no hurry as it is not their life involved here. It's yours. I know you did everything by the book, but they will take their sweet old time getting back to you on this. They must be sure that you have done everything you say you did correctly. That sometimes takes time to check out. The judge is the one who signs your Order of Termination. He might have other pressing things to attend to. He'll eventually get around to making up his mind and deciding. Just be patient. It'll be over soon enough.
