I have a maple-chase thermostat #09600 (programmable) that will not operate. It was working fine until a spark of static electricity from my finger to the unit caused it to malfunction. I tried pushing the reset button but no luck. I have researched the manual but cannot find anything that helps. I checked the fuse and it is good. Please assist if you can. Thanks.

Stop touching the thermostat. LOL. Just kidding.

You might start by checking the 24 volt furnace power circuit. Also check the main power to make sure it is turned on.

If the circuit board in the furnace has a blown fuse that will also cause this problem.

Last but not least the thermostat could be defective.

Your finger should not have had a thing to do with it but strange things do happen.
