Hi,

I was in the US in San Francisco, CA from May 2007 to Oct 2007 on L1 visa. I am an Indian national and am in India now. While comng back, I closed all my accounts. Can anyone advise how can I get my return money?

Thanks in advance!

Can you provide EXACT dates of arrival and departure, as you are right on the edge of the 183-day time whether you have to pay taxes on income earned as an employee.

Further, WHO paid you, your Inda-based company, a U.S. subsiduary, or a U.S.-bsed company??

I was paid by my US based company. The company in India is the subsidiary of US based company. Although in India, I get paid in Indian payrolls. I was there in US between May 26th and Oct 10th 2008.
Thanks in advance.
