hi i am 27years old and have a thickening of the left breast. Its not a lump of such but its getting bigger and has also started to hurt. It does'nt hurt to touch it. I went to my doctor and she said it was something to do with fat, it had a long name and i cant remember, anyway she said its nothing but if it gets bigger it will need surgically removing and that was that. I went back 1 week later and saw another doctor as im concerned its getting more noticable and the pain is getting more frequent and he said its a good thing to be getting pain and put the lumpy thing down to wearing the wrong bra and the put pain down to my neck as my left side just behind the ear is sore to touch. The pain is under my armpit and the thickening is just where my left breast starts near my armpit. Im concerned and wonder if i should get a 3rd opinion.

If it's something that concerns you enough to ask, I would get a third opinion. Peace of mind is worth the co-pay.
