I bought a home in Dec 2007. Since my credit was not so good, I was told to use my Uncle's name and credit for buying my home. Loan is on my uncle's name but I'm on the deed and tax. In addition, I'm the only one who paid the mortgage every month and have the proof of it.
Can I get the tax deduction on interest paid on the laon. My uncle didn't want to claim it and has nothing to do with the loan?
