I am having ignition problems with my Coleman/Evcon DGAT070BDC.

Randomly the system fails to ignite. The purge motor then runs constantly until I turn the system off, wait about 15 seconds, and then turn it back on.

When the temperature drops to the point the heater should turn on the following happens: First, the thermostat relay closes and the purge motor turns on. Second, the motor runs for about 10 seconds before another click and the hot surface igniter begins to glow. Third, about 20 seconds goes by and the purge motor continues to run but no ignition and the hot surface igniter turns off.

This problem only happens randomly though. The majority of the time the system works properly. After the glow of the hot surface igniter, the solenoid on the gas valve opens and the gas ignites. After which a minute or so later the blower turns on and heats my home.

The past several mornings the problem has occurred in the night. I awake to a very cool home and the sound of the purge motor turning. Any suggestion on what the problem may be is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
