I have a Burhanm Bo iler and in the last few days when I go to the basement I can smell the fumes of burned oil. What can I do to stop this?

I do not believe you can do much except to make sure the flue/chimney is clear and drawing. Usually a tune up done by a oil burner pro will take care of your problem.

When was the last time you had full service on your burner? Oil usually requires an annual service to run at top efficiency.

I had a tune up and the blower was replaced about a month a go.

I would be calling back the company that just tuned your furnace and have them recheck your unit.
