I am 28 years old and have three children. Am married and have had unprotected intercourse for about a month. I had a late period last month. it showed up 8 days late and was very brown and clotty. Then about two weeks later I had cramping (I thought it was just ovulation, but it lasted so long) that lasted two and a half weeks. Lot and lots of yellow discharge (not bad smelling) Now, I am late for my period by 9 days. Took test three days ago and got neg. results. But tonight I get this brownish mucus-like clotty looking discharge. Not stressed, good health, usually on time periods. I have had tender nipples and am tender under the pelvic area. What do you think is up?Could this be my period, but what is up with the cramping and discharge thing lasting so long?

It could be pregnancy, could be something else. You should go to the doctor.

I wish that I could go to the Doctor. But I can't. I live in a third world country- no doctors that could answer my questions.

Have you ever lived in a third world country :) It has phones, internet, and and even cell phones. But it lacks the more important thing- good health care. I know that I need to see a doctor, but unfortunately I can't at this moment in time. Maybe when I can get back to the States, I will be able to. Thank you anyway for your time :)

Well, Aunt Flow came to visit finally.

I don't think that you could have blood flow and pregnancy as well. So, I can rule out pregnancy. I do think that I must of had some sort of infection and that would explain all the unusual cramping and discharge. I hope that it has gone away. I haven't even had any cramping with this flow. That is unusual for me. I usually have cramping with my flow. I am not complaining about that though. :)
