I am filing 1040EZ form for my Tax Return as married filing jointly. My wife don't have ITIN number hence I will be filling W7 form along with my federal tax return.
So do I need Notarize copy of my wife's passport and how notarize copy looks like and from where I can get that notarize copy.

I have two more questions;

1) Do IRS offices help us to get Notarize copies while submitting W7 form along with Federal Tax Returns.

2) Also is it necessary to have "True Copy" words written by Notary along with his Signature and Stamp.

Please suggest.

You do need to include a notarized copy with the tax return. An IRS "acceptance agent" should be able to assist you. Acceptance agents facilitate and expedite the issuance of ITINs and EINs by verifying the foreign status and identity of the applicants. Acceptance agents are not employees of the IRS. For a list of acceptance agents, see Acceptance Agent Program (http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=96304,00.html)

Yes, you should attach notarized copy of your wife's passport with W7 and your tax return. A notary will see the original passport and put his stamp and signature on the copy.

1) The IRS office WILL certify that the passport photocpy is a true copy of the passport, provided you bring BOTH to the IRS office.

2) Yes, TRUE COPY should be on the notary.
