Hello

I started my job on OPT status from Jan 2008 in New Jersey. I want to know the amount of tax that would be deducted from my income? I make $27/hour (without taxes) and I work around 40 hours a week. please give me an approximate figure. thanks

Depends on how many exemptions you claim on your W-4 and NJ-equivalent form.
