Hi,

I have a query regarding tax filing...situation listed below.

[1] I was working on H1-B in US for 7 yrs before returning back to India.
[2] I came back to India (from US) 1st week of Aug, 2007 and resigned end of Sept, 2007 (from India).
[3] I got married Aug 15, 2007. My wife has H-4 visa, although she has never been in US.
[4] I would like to know how should I file my tax return?
[5] Can I claim my spouse as dependent for 2007?
[6] Should I file as single + dependent or married/jointly

You can file as Married Filing Jointly. You will attach W7 for your wife.
