Hi Im A Single Mom Of 4 That During Year 2007 I Worked And Got Paid Cash And I Got Ssi For My Oldest Kid Who Has Adhd Can I File And Get Anything ?

Sounds like a yes to me. Can't say for certain of course, but depending on your income etc... I would think there could be a pretty good sum with the earned income credits if you fall in the right income ranges and are able to claim the kids as dependents.

You'd have to report the cash as self employment income probably.

If you file, you MUST claim the cash payments as self-employment income.

This will require filing Form 1040 with Schedule C and probably Schedule SE.

It should NOT affect your SSI payments.
