:p hi i am looking to start a buisness i want to sell brand name clothing online...but i want to know if im purchasing from over seas,do i need a buisness license of some kind some one please help me thank you

You should have a business license to do business. Also for sells within your state, normally you are ( in most states) suppose to collect sales tax. so you will need a tax resale number for reporting the taxes collected.

move to the US, ok, really not up on Canada law.
