I have a 588ANW048120 gaspac and the code led refers to the IGC error, I can reset the unit by cutting off main power and it comes on and works ofay for awhile then all of a sudden it does the same thing. Sometimes it will work ok for aday or two then again it may go and do it two times in one day. There is no other problem heats good and cycles ok. I even put an external wire from the ignitor screw to the ground just in case of rust or bad ground but the same thing happen . The only info i have said to replace the IGC only if it don't reset if you turn off and on the main power source. What can you offer in the way of help. The IGC is to exspensive to be parts changing.

If this unit has a flame sensor try cleaning it with sand paper or replace.
