Hi,
I was student on year 2007. I worked on OPT from june 2007- to sept 2007.
In October 2007, I started working on H1. Also, I paid about 2000 dollars in student loan payment interest which I heard I can get exempt on federal tax. my filling status is married, wife is not doing job.

I want to know what forms do i need to use for federal and state tax? I am in Illinois.
Also how can I claim deduction?
my firm mistakenly deduct some ssn and Medicare tax in OPT status. How can I get refund for that?

I am very confused. please do advice me.

Thanks in advance,
Alpesh
