I have very visible veins on my legs and arms. They look so ugly. I wondered if anyone can tell me how to get rid of them, what causes them and how to prevent them.
Many Thanks.

There are many factors that causes spider or varicose veins such as heredity, hormone imbalance, blockage of blood flow, sun exposure, pregnancy or menopause. You can't completely prevent spider or varicose veins from developing, but you can reduce your chances of getting them by exercising regularly to improve circulation, and strengthen the legs and veins or eating foods that are low in fat, sugar and salt.

There are no external creams or lotions that will get rid of spider or varicose veins. However, you can use make up like Dermablend to temporarily cover the veins. If you're concerned about them, please consult a dermatologist. A dermatologist can recommend a form of treatment to help shrink the veins and make them less noticeable.
