I actually cant believe it! Ive been given a place in the semi-finals of miss hertfordshire 2008.
Theyve chosen a handful of applicants from pictures they submitted with their application to attend a photoshoot in february, from which 30 will be chosent to go through to the finals.
we have to turn up in a white top with our hair and make up done.
I was wondering if any of you have any hair or make up tips or if you know of any good websites to help me.

try it i typically find that girls look much better when they just do their usual. you are more comfortable that way.

Firstly Congratulations. As a judge for the Miss Hertfordshire Eco Award I would suggest you take a look at the Miss Hertfordshire website and have a look at the standard to expect. Good tip - Drink lots of water as this is great for the skin. Most Importantly, do what you feel would represent you best. Good Luck.
