Hi. I have a few questions. Background first:Complete hysterectomy including ovary 10 yrs ago (at 37) due to cervical dysplasia from HPV. Beforehand had cone biopsy and LEEP. PAPs haven't been normal since. Since diagnosed with vulvar cancer( around 6 yrs ago).Mostly wait and see 6mth appointments with Gyn Oc.A few spots lazered off.
These checkups stopped last year. Haven't had any kind of sexual contact in 4 years.Last summer(06) noticed small sore(red, and redder in center) on back of left thigh, just under bum, accompanied by a belt of nerve pain.A month later, the same sore on inner labia.Family doctor swabbed for herpies.Came back negative.Went to see gyn oc, and he said type 1 herpies, but didn't swab. These sores didn't become pus filled, just faded away after about a week. I haven't had one since .
Within the last week, HPV has become active, with new, different looking growth, and one of the lazered cancer areas is irritated.Went to family doctor yesterday for PAP and culture. She asked me if I had Yeast infection symptoms.Told her , "no".She said there was a thick white mucus inside me.I'm slightly alarmed but not suprised at ths point.Any idea what this is?One more thing. That nerve pain on back of thigh has never gone away, and worsens when I'm laying down. Is this symtomatic of herpies?
Any info would be appreciated, thanks, Capergirl
