I need a home remedy to remove my highlights..MY HAIR IS YELLOW!!! Can I use dishwashing soap to strip it out or will it lighten even more?

Do you want to remove the yellow tones?
If so, buy a violet hair toner from any hair or beauty shop. It eliminates the yellow tones. Always follow manufacturers instructions.

Yes, it is recommended that you use a violet base hair color to neutralize the unwanted yellow tones. To make things less complicated, you can use L'Oreal Tone Refiner Balancing Toning Gloss for Blonde Hair. This will neutralize the yellow tones. You will find this product at a pharmacy in the hair care aisle.
