My hair has been previously lightened (6 weeks ago/pearl blonde) using home dying kit, am i safe to darken my hair to a dark blond shade then put lighter blonde highlights through it:confused

Hello, lou_x, I've read the e-mail you've sent me. If your hair is in good condition, you can go ahead and re-color it. It's much easier to go darker than it is to go lighter. However, it's very tricky to do highlights at home. This process involves bleaching and toning. And if it's not don't correctly, your highlights could end up too yellow or over-processed. You should let a hair stylist do your highlights, but if it's not an option, ask a friend to help you apply the color.
