If I filed exempt from May to October 2007, will I owe in this year, and how much

I need to know were I can go to to find this information out. I have already searched using the IRS calculator and HR Block calculators and they are not helpful.

The problem is that it does not allow me to say that I filed exempt for five months

I am not sure what you mean by "filed exempt".

Did you mean that you were exempt from income tax withholding?

Or do you mean that you were a student on a F-1 visa and this an individual "exempt" from the provisions of the Substantial Presence Test?

Or something else?

It appears that you claimed exempt status on W4.
Unless you tell us your filing status (single, married..., dependent or nondependent), number of dependents, for total wages for 2007, it is not possible to tell what will be your federal income tax.
