i havent worked this year and i want to calm my son but i dont have w2 forms can i still get the money for him

You can claim your son if you supplied over 50 percent of his support, how did you support him with no income, what did you do for rent, for food, for electric bills. ???

You also said you did not have any W2, but did not say you did not work, if you worked for cash, that money is to be reported as income and taxes paid on it.

If you don't have any earned income, you won't get any Earned Income Credit or Child Tax Credit. Also the extra exemption deduction for dependent will not reduce your taxable income since there is no income.
