Current assets indicate gross working capital of a business concern. It is from the view point of the firm that, more the firm manages these resources efficiently, more will be the profitability of the firm.

Long term investments indicate long term operating performance and future growth opportunities.

Property, Plant and equipment indicates the size of the firm, which will help the business to grow and prosper in future, can accept future competition from the new players, help to establish itself as a market leader.

Intangible assets indicate the firm's reputation or goodwill in the market, also it gives a good image about the firm'product (easy acceptability by the customers).
