I have a Janitrol HPT 18-60 C/HA unit(i know it's a old model) it stopped working last week,I called an HVAC guy he came out took about 2 minutes said he rewired my wires to the thermostat so that I would have temporary heat until he got me some new contacts(whatever that means) so it's been a week later I can't seem to get in contact with him and we have no heat! My question is this, can I somehow get someone to do the same thing that he did(rewire it ) and get more temporary heat? And exactly what did he do that took absolutely no time at all? Is it something simple that I could do myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:p Michelle5010
