What is it and how do you get it. How do you know if its over or under? I was stuck on this question;
The Trail Company had budgeted direct labor costs of $1,600,000, manufacturing overhead of $800,000, and allocated overhead based on direct labor costs. If actual direct costs were $1,500,000 and actual manufacturing costs were $770,000, what was the amount of overapplied or underapplied overhead?
