Hi, Thanks for your help yesterday with my problem.

I took your advise and took a pregnancy test this morning which came up negative and although at first i was scared to be pregnant i had got myself excited about the thought of it and that it would be great! Me and my boyfriend are so happy, have just bought a house and could cope with having the baby even though i wasnt planned.... now the test came back negative i feel so upset and ill from it plus the extra worry that i still havent had my period! My boyfriend doesnt seem o understand as it wasnt planned anyway.... is this normal to feel this way?

Having a baby is a big deal. Your feelings are normal! You boyfriend, because it isn't his body is more removed from the subject and less moved by the whole thing. It's awesome that he cares and is willing to have a child with you. If you truly are not pregnant, then at least the two of you are prepared for the future. The tumbling emotions will pass, in time.

My friend had a few negative tests with her first, but after a few months of no period she did another one and it turns out it was positive. If you are still not getting your period you should see a doctor, there are other causes and he can advise you of these.

It is totally normal to be devistated; while you were not planning most of us have that inner desire to be mum's, just know that your boyfriend is keen on family and when you are ready it will all happen.
