Hello,

I installed a Hunter 44760 T-stat this past summer and never bothered to check to make sure the heat worked on it. A/C works fine, but now that the temp. has dropped here in TX, I wish I would of tested it previously.

I'm fairly certain that the t-stat is wired correctly, i have 5 wires coming out of the wall;
white, red, blue(but blue is connected to nothing at the furnace)yellow, and green.

Red= R
Green=G
White=C
Yellow=Y1
Jumper wire from W2-E

The fan works fine as well as everything else, except the heat. I have an electric furnace, "Gooodman model #A24-10" with an A/C unit outside. When i select heat on the t-stat, the furnace comes on and so does the outside unit. But only cold air comes out finally after 30 mins of dropping the temp in my house about 10 degrees, I shut it off. I've looked through these forums and couldn't find anyone else with this problem, so thats why I'm asking here. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
