Hi everyone..new here, but I really need some advice. For about 6 months now I have been getting cramping pains at weird times, like in the middle of the month. (I normally only get cramps right before my period.) So, I went to my dr, and he sent me to a specialist, who did an internal US, and found a sack of fluid behind my uterus. She sent me to another dr who has a more powerful machine. Their findings were: utersus and ovaries normal, moderate amount of free fluid in the pouch of douglas, with no physiological reason. They asked me to repeat the US in 2 weeks, which I have done, and the fluid is still there. I had previously been told that it could be edometriosis, or a cyst, but now they just say "we don't know why." I am in pain more and more often, and I have EXTREME lower abdo pain after I have had a few glasses of wine. I had my gall bladder removed 18 month s ago. I am on the pill, 25, and otherwise healthy. If anyone has any ideas, I would REALLY appreciate you sharing them. I have one week left until I see the specialist again, and I'm just very worried and impatient.
Thank you!!!!!
