I am looking at installing a whole home humidifier on to my furnace system which is currently a dual fuel system with a heat pump and a high efficiency gas furnance. I am a do it yourselfer and I plan on doing the install myself. I have looked at the Aprilaire 600 bypass model and I think it may be the one that I want to install. Can anybody tell me if they know anything about this brand or this particular humidifier? I am wanting to know if it is a quality product that is made and going to last me for years down the road.
Also does anybody have any tips or warnings about whole home humdifiers and installing them? Does anybody recommend a different brand or model that they have had good luck with? I am just looking to put in a very quality product.

thanks
Matt

Aprilaire is the best in my opinion just change the panel yearly and shut off in the summer
