do you have to add 30 to the ambeint air temp. like you do for r22 and r12 to R410a freon to get the proper high side pressure reading

No ...because the condensers are more efficient, closer to 25 degrees, if you have a TXV, look to the ID label (or unit specs) for the proper cond. sub cooling.....and charge to that ....and don't forget R-410a is ALWAYS charged as a liquid into the suction side, be sure to use a charging adapter, or bleed it slowly to flash back in your gage set to a gas as you charge..
