Ok, first I gave my landlord a 30 day notice on september 29, 2007 and my lease was up october 30th 2007. Well I moved out on october 15 2007 and my new lease says that I started it october 15 2007 did my walk-through with my ll and they said that the carpet needed cleaning so I agreed and it would cost $106 (my deposit was $530) so wouldn't that mean that they would have to have given my deposit back already? By the way I live in ohio and not to mention I have assistance in my housing and my mom and dad lived right beside me and after I moved they did and he is trying to turn me in for having them live with me (which is not true) what a loser!

The cost of cleaning the carpet would have come out of your security deposit. If your mom and dad lived beside you and you have assistance housing (are you disabled), what has that got to do with it ? You still soiled the carpets no matter what.

What I don't understand is why the LL is turning you in because your parents lived with you. So, who is the loser here.
