I am in a intermediate accounting class and one of my assignments is to find the FASB Pronouncement that applies to the recognition of membership revenue. The membership is to a club that offers things like discount travel and dinning. The only thing that I could find was FASB No. 48, but that does not apply to service and I think that discounts is a service. Can anyone help me? If you don't know, maybe you have an idea of where I should look. I have been searching for hours and I am getting really frustrated. Thanks
