How would you convert gas heat to electric heat. Around what price range would this cost? The heat comes from a big propane tank that is costly to fill.

You better do a cost analysis first before you change anything. Depending upon where you live electric can cost more than propane. Now a heat pump would be a good idea along with a electric furnace.

Price is open because I have no idea whet the labor rates are in your area. get 2 to 3 estimates and pick the company that does the best work.
