I found a great one and a half oven (an Italian made Tecnocook brand) and would love to get one (I live in Phoenix where it's often way too hot to turn on a big oven) but don't know if it can run properly (and safely) on US electricity. I think Europe electricity 240V 50Mhz while the US is 220V 60Mhz.

I would suggest emailing someone from that company and asking them if a voltage adaptor would be practical or not, which you would need to use so that you didn't fry your oven or house. If they don't think that's a good idea for long time use, you may be out of luck.

First off, it is Hz, for Hertz, not MHz, which represents Mega Hertz.

Also, standard USA voltage is 240 volts, not 220.

While the heating elements will not be affected, any small motors and electronics may be affected adversely.

As suggested, best to check with the manufacturer, as the unit may be setup to handle both 60 & 50 Hz.

Also, be sure the unit is listed by Underwriters Laboratories or some other accepted third party testing firm . Any equipment utilized in the USA must be "listed". If there is a problem later on, and your insurance company does an investigation, they may refuse a claim based on unapporved equipment being installed.

Stratmando, it's an electric oven with dials. The clock is digital. BTW, I noticed the photo next to your name. I used to fly a Vision Eclipse.
