I was just wondering if it is possible that I could be pregnant? I am using the jasmin contraceptive pill and is allready on my 3rd day of using the white inactive tablets, but my period did not occur yet. I did use the pill religiously coorrect, but one day I was late an hour and half. I had a lot of stress during the last 2 weeks and lost a kilogram. Could this be the reason?

Have you taken antibiotics? These have a tendency to make the pill ineffective.

You won't start your period immediatly after taking an "inactive" pill. I've been on the pill for 9 years and I usually start on the 3rd or 4th inactive pill.

Antibiotics and other drugs do change the effectiveness of the pill. Stress can also be a factor, especially if you are also loosing weight.

Though, it is possible to get pregnant on the pill.... not likely, but possible.
